Church of Nigeria Hymnal 2.0

This is the newly approved Church of Nigeria Hymnal Android App, developed for the Anglican Communion and offered as a complimentary resource.

The Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, places significant emphasis on maintaining high standards of worship, adherence to biblical truths, and the integrity of Christian teachings. This hymnal serves as a vital companion to the Book of Common Prayer, structured to align with the Church Calendar while firmly rooted in sound biblical doctrines that articulate God’s attributes and the nature of the Trinity.

Featuring 1,250 hymn lyrics, canticles, and spiritual songs—approximately 450 of which were composed by Nigerian authors—this collection includes timeless hymns that continue to resonate with contemporary spiritual lives. The hymnal is thoughtfully organized to reflect African worship practices through a rich tapestry of musical accompaniments.

Engagement with this hymnal prepares the hearts and minds of worshippers for an authentic service to God. It fosters the revelation of divine truths, instills hope both for the present and eternity, and invites the transformative power of grace.
